BBC Crossing divides
Gun Control
Could more guns make our streets safer?
Each mass shooting prompts vocal and passionate calls for stricter gun control, with advocates for the right to bear arms reiterating their claims that existing regulations are sufficient and that guns actually serve to protect those in danger. Where do you stand?
Crossing Divides is a season from BBC News, hearing from people around the world who are bridging divided communities. In this experience, you’ll play a person having a difficult conversation. At the end, we’ll give you feedback on how it went.
PICK YOUR CHARACTER
You were looking forward to stretching out on the bus and sleeping off a late night, but the driver has let another passenger on. What a drag. You move your bag and hope that the bulge of your holster will keep the conversation to a minimum.
You're on holiday from Lagos, Nigeria, and travelling to Phoenix on the bus. The last seat is next to a woman with what looks like a gun under her top. You're just going to have to sit next to her.

People need training to use voice assistants, just as you need training to use a search engine or a mouse.

A great article ( I used it as an introduction for a "TPE" ) that I would divide into several parts and hand out to 4 or 5 groups.
The task would consist for each group in presenting their part in simple words

( There is/ there are / I can see / The picture shows ... Présent avec BE + Ving)
https://learningapps.org/display?v=pczkze2fn18
Ils comparent.

https://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/blogs/first-polar-bear-born-uk-25-years
The bear cub is in front of its mother.
The mother is behind the bear cub.
The cub is between the mother's paws
they are in a cage
There is snow on the ground.
The baby is looking at the snow, the mother is looking outside.
https://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/stories/smithsonian-zoo-western-lowland-gorilla-birth-moke
The baby gorilla is lying on its mother's chest.
The mother is holding the baby.
There is straw on the ground.
They are looking at me!
The baby's hand is very small. The mother's hand is huge!
The mother is in the water. The bear cubs are on her back to have a better view or to get dry!
She has to bear with them!
